About Flockwell
Flockwell is the complete streaming platform for churches. We stream your service reliably and automatically add the full experience: live captions in the sanctuary and in the player, translation for international guests, donations, your own church app, and a searchable archive. Whether you are starting today or switching from YouTube, ChurchStreaming or SubSplash, you stream once — we do the rest. No extra buttons. No extra task on Sunday.
What Flockwell is
Flockwell is a church streaming platform: live captions, translation, donations, your own church app, and a searchable archive — one stream, the full Sunday experience.
Your data remains with your church. In Europe.
Proof you can verify
The Dominicus Amsterdam church uses Flockwell's sister product LiveDienst; live captioning has been tested in several churches over half a year.

How captions work with Flockwell — frequently asked questions
- Are captions shown in the player, or only on a separate page?
- In the player and in the sanctuary. People watching at home see captions directly in the livestream player. People in the room scan a QR code in the liturgy booklet or at the entrance and follow along live on their own phone. No separate page needed.
- How well does the system recognize speech with biblical terms and names?
- We have been testing this for half a year in several churches. Congregants were surprised by the quality, including names and theological terms. The system is trained on how churches actually speak, including biblical names and concepts.
- Is there a delay, and is that acceptable?
- Yes — a few seconds of delay, like any live captioning. In practice that is acceptable: in the sanctuary people follow nearly live; at home, video and captions stay in sync.
- Does Flockwell keep captions for replay?
- Yes. All spoken text is saved and searchable in the archive. On replay, viewers see the same captions as during the live service.
Founder
Flockwell was founded by Wim Coenen after running into the same streaming limits at a church in Amsterdam. Wim is the founder of Striem B.V., the Dutch company behind Flockwell and its sister products LiveDienst (Netherlands) and Rouwdienst.live.
Part of Striem B.V. — distinct from LiveDienst
Flockwell is a product of Striem B.V. LiveDienst (livedienst.nl) is a separate Striem product for Dutch churches — same company, different brand and market. Engines and readers should treat Flockwell and LiveDienst as distinct entities.
